If you are interested in getting involved in some way with the work of the GIG, whether joining the team or just helping out here and there, we want to know. We have ongoing needs for volunteers both immediate and long-term. See below for some specific tasks.
• individuals for daily lunchroom recycling and compost coaching (1 hour per day)

• a small team for construction of small raised garden beds outside the lunchroom
• individuals to help a fundraising project for the fall
• people who like to write and/or do graphic design to help keep our blog current
To get involved please email your name, email address, telephone number, child's name and grade at Brackett, and your area of interest (compost, recycling, vegetable gardening, sustainable energy, grant writing, helping in the cafeteria, etc.), your availability (during school, after school, weekends, whenever you can fit it in, etc.), and if you have specific expertise in any area and what that is, to the GIG team at gig dot brackett at gmail dot com.
